We are the north! Welcome to Aurora Wolves Rugby Union, the Northern-Cariboo regional club and the newest affiliate club in BC Rugby. We are made up of players from Fort St. John, Prince George, Vanderhoof, Terrace, Prince Rupert, Williams Lake and communities in between. Our mission is to grow rugby in the north, build community, and empower young athletes to follow their goals!

With 2024 as our debut year, the Aurora Wolves are looking to make an immediate impact for athletes in northern BC. July 5-7 the AWRU looks to compete at the annual Provincial Regional Championships hosted at the UBC Gerald McGavin Rugby Centre. Athletes, coaches and volunteers that are interested in being a part of this journey should connect with us:

We are searching for athletes from birth years 2006, 2007 for the U18 Boys & U18 Girls; 2008, 2009 for the U16 Boys & U16 Girls; 2010, 2011 for U14 Boys and U14 Girls teams.

Introducing the Aurora Wolves Rugby Union, a formidable alliance of rugby excellence in Northern-Cariboo Region. Comprised of players from across northern BC; from Fort St John, Prince George, Vanderhoof, Terrace, Prince Rupert, and Williams Lake, we share a passion for rugby and want to see it grow in our communities.
We debuted at the Vancouver Sevens Invitational, February 2024 in a contest of regional rugby programs. There were teams from Vancouver Island, Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Alberta, Okanagan, Washington State and even as far as Nova Scotia! The Wolves gave it their all even scored the first try of the tournament!
