AWRU ID Camps Complete

January 2024, BC Rugby approved the Aurora Wolves as an affiliate club to represent a northern region of British Columbia. Fast forward to May 5th at Duchess Park Secondary School in Prince George for the third and final ID Camp. Prospective athletes participated in two ID camps in Fort St.John and Williams Lake leading up to the camp in Prince George.

53 athletes from northern communities showed up for the largest turnout of the three camps. Each youth registered and was run through ball handling, footwork and contact drills. The next step is to build rosters for the U18 boys, U18 girls, U16 boys and U16 girls teams to compete at the Provincial Regional Championship tournament in July at UBC.
